One install, three lost jobs.
This is what a normal Tuesday looks like in many car audio shops. Scroll through the day and watch where the revenue goes.
Example scenariocall
Your installer is inside a door panel.
The phone rings during an install.
Your best installer has a door panel off and is running wire to a new amplifier. The phone rings at the front counter, but nobody can step away to answer it.
The caller does not leave a voicemail.
A customer shopping for a new system usually calls more than one shop. When nobody answers, they do not wait for a call back. They hang up and call the next shop on their list.
Another shop books the install.
By the time someone returns the call, the customer has already booked with the shop that picked up. The job is gone, and nothing in your system shows that it was ever lost.
The quotes go cold.
At the end of the day there are quotes for a full build, a sub and amp package, and sound deadening that nobody has followed up. Those customers did not say no. They simply never heard back from you.
